Inasmuch Foundation Celebrates Historic $22 Million Grant Cycle

Today, Inasmuch Foundation is pleased to announce that the Spring 2024 grant cycle is the largest in Foundation history with over $22 million awarded to 55 different nonprofit organizations.

“This year marks a major milestone in Inasmuch Foundation's history with our largest grant cycle to date” Inasmuch Foundation Chairman and CEO Bob Ross said. “Thanks to a shift in fiscal years and thoughtful leadership from our board and staff, Inasmuch Foundation is able to push additional resources into the community to further our partners’ impact.” 

This spring’s noteworthy funding consists of a number of major commitments across the Foundation’s focus areas. This grant cycle includes contributions to YMCA, First Americans Museum, and Catholic Charities, with more grant recipients to be announced in the weeks to come. 

Inasmuch Foundation’s grants announced today include: 

• $2 million grant to YMCA to construct a new facility in The Village that will expand the Y’s childcare offerings, program infrastructure, and provide support for transformational wellness in Central Oklahoma. 
• $250,000 grant to First Americans Museum to complete the construction of the FAMily Discovery Center which will provide interactive, hands-on learning experiences for all ages.
• $550,000 grant to Catholic Charities to address the lack of affordable housing in Oklahoma City by developing a pocket neighborhood, Caritas Casitas, with 12 efficiency units located near Sanctuary Women's Development Center in Stockyards City. Additional casitas will be constructed throughout the community. 

“Inasmuch Foundation has been directly involved with driving progress and transformation in Oklahoma City over the past forty years. It helps shape our community by funding high-impact projects, and there is a great need for their support right now," said Rachel Canuso Holt, President and CEO for United Way of Central Oklahoma. "Many nonprofit organizations have robust capital needs since investment over the last five years is down from the pandemic.” 

Since founding in 1982, Inasmuch Foundation has awarded $390 million to 1,500 nonprofits.
