Inasmuch Foundation celebrates Giving Tuesday by distributing $4.3 million in grant funding to 57 nonprofits, including over $2.8 million to 32 nonprofits serving Central Oklahoma, $1.1 million to 17 journalism organizations nationwide, and $325,000 to 7 nonprofits serving Colorado Springs, Colorado. Oklahoma Partnership for School Readiness (OPSR) is a statewide organization focused on improving Oklahoma's early childhood systems by strengthening families and ensuring all children are ready for school.
We are pleased to announce the distribution of $7.7 million in grants, including $7.025 million to 74 nonprofits serving Central Oklahoma. Another $675,000 was awarded to 7 organizations supporting the Colorado Springs community.
